Not your normal Wireless Internet Service

There is a new technology coming out that would provide high speed internet access to remote locations. It would also be available in the big cities. Due to the low cost to the comsummer this service will compete directly with DSL and high speed cable internet. The range is much larger than WiFi, and speeds are better than high speed internet cable.

I would like to know if anyone else in Southern Michigan would be interested in this type of high speed wireless. This is faster and cheaper than high speed cable and DSL. If I can show enough interest, I would definitely start looking into all of the details and get the company going.

A rough idea of prices would be:
For home use
$100 - $150 one time set up fee
$35 - $45 / month

For Small Business Use
$150 - $250 one time set up fee
$40 - $150 / month

If you are interested in this type of service, please reply to this post.

I'm new to this tribe

Hi all,

I belong to some of the other Michigan Tribes. I see that this one doesn't get as much action, but let's see if there is anything we can do about it.

You can read my profile and see I am a computer programmer / consultant / web developer / etc... I run a company called Simon Developing (www.simondeveloping.com), how original :). I am in Southwest Michigan, and I am willing to do work anywhere south of Grand Rapids, all the way to Detroit. I can also go into North West Ohio, and Northern Indiana.

I am in the process of becoming a certified Business Partner with Microsoft, so I can provide the Microsoft Small Business Financials. It is a step up from QuickBooks and Peach Tree, but not quite up to Great Plains (although it looks just like Great Plains).

If you or anyone you know is interested in anything I do, please don't hesitate to contact me!

I may have mentioned that I'm a member of the NFO MySurvey.com online consumer research panel. They ask people like us for opinions about existing products and services and about products under development via online surveys. Then they give the feedback to businesses. I've enjoyed being a panel member and thought you might also be interested in checking it out.

In addition to having my opinions heard by America's businesses, NFO MySurvey.com membership means automatic entry into their sweepstakes with a grand prize of $10,000. You also get reward points (which can be converted into cash) for joining, for taking surveys, and (you guessed it) for referring other people. NFO MySurvey.com (National Family Opinion) has been a leader in the consumer research business for more than 50 years.

Reward points add up quickly. Every 1,000 points is $10. You can request a check be sent to you when you reach whatever amount you desire to take. I've made over $200 in my spare time doing this.
